Buy Local Santa Monica was created by the Santa Monica business community and the City of Santa Monica to support our local businesses and encourage local buying that strengthens our thriving community by raising awareness about the economic, environmental and community benefits of thinking local first.
Under contract to the City of Santa Monica, the purpose of SMTT is to promote Santa Monica as a conference, business and leisure travel destination. As a sales and service organization, SMTT acts as the marketing representative for local businesses and the community as a whole.
Santa Monica's Government Outreach (GO) System is designed to provide our residents, businesses and visitors with a Virtual City Hall, giving you the opportunity to access City Hall, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
In an effort to recognize and certify the outstanding green businesses in our community and promote their services, the City of Santa Monica, the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, Sustainable Works and the Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau have teamed up to create the Green Business Certification Program. By participating in this program and becoming certified, businesses will enjoy the unique benefits of this select group.
